vivid portrait of a cynical small-college professor and his
embittered wife, whose tempestuous marriage is exposed
in front of a naive young couple they’ve invited over.

WE HEARD YOU!
when you said it was sometimes hard to hear
the actors in our productions…
So we want to be sure
you hear us!
For this season’s production of “Now and Then,” the Hampton Theatre Company purchased four wireless personal microphones for the members of the cast – the first phase of a plan to acquire a total of 16 microphones over the next year and a half.
Having a full complement of wireless microphones and supporting equipment will ensure that every performer in an HTC production will be wearing a wireless microphone, providing superior sound quality and increased reliability. A boon to actors and audiences alike, the new system will greatly enhance audio output and the ability of all our guests to hear every word the performers speak, regardless of where you sit in the theater.
With ticket sales covering only about 50 percent of expenses for our professional company, the balance is made up by ads in our programs and donations from generous theatergoers. With a projected cost of $32,000 for our complete microphone system, we are reaching out to our theatre family to assist us once again.
Please consider becoming an “Audio Angel” by making a donation to our dedicated microphone fund by clicking on the button below or mailing your donation to Hampton Theatre Company, P.O. Box 400, Quogue, NY 11959.
Audio Angels will be listed in our Season 41 programs, as well as on the Hampton Theatre Company website. Donations of $1000 or more will receive two tickets to the HTC benefit gala being held in the summer of 2025.
Many thanks!
